The Reading Comprehension (EDU & SLP) program is most appropriate for learners approximately 7–14 years old who are developing critical language and literacy skills. This is because reading comprehension challenges often become more visible during early academic years, when students are expected to read independently and understand increasingly complex material. The Reading Comprehension program can be adjusted to fit individual needs. Depending on the learner’s age and language development, it can serve different purposes: prevention of reading difficulties, stimulation of comprehension strategies, therapy, and improvement of reading fluency and understanding.

The program was designed with the following features in mind:

  • A comprehensive tool to support the development of key reading comprehension skills, including listening comprehension, reading fluency, and comprehension strategies.
  • Texts and exercises are divided into three difficulty levels with gradually increasing complexity to match the learner’s progress.
  • Interactive exercises complement each text and reinforce understanding, encourage active engagement, and build confidence.
  • Printable worksheets and a methodological guide offer additional support for educators and therapists using the program in diverse settings.
  • Ideal for use in classrooms, special education, speech therapy sessions, tutoring, and English language learning environments.

The Reading Comprehension (EDU & SLP)  program consists of:

  1. Over 1,000 interactive screens (games, puzzles, matching, etc.) all accessible through a computer, interactive white board, tablet, and even mobile devices (online)
  2. Audio support for every story and set of directions to assist emerging readers
  3. Multiple opportunities to practice and reinforce reading skills
  4. Printable worksheets for additional practice
  5. Customizable practice, including options for hints, fewer options to minimize distractions, and a progress panel
  6. Data on progress

Reading Comprehension (EDU & SLP) is designed for therapists and teachers working with students at the following levels:

  • Early elementary school (grades 1-3): For students who are just learning how to read In the or those just beginning to read in English. This level is recommended for grades 1 to 3 but can be adjusted based on the teacher/therapist’s input. This level includes illustrated content to aid comprehension.
  • Later elementary/early middle school (grades 4-6): For students improving their reading comprehension skills but are not yet teenagers. Best suited for grades 4 to 6 but can be adjusted based on the teacher/therapist’s input.
  • Middle school (grades 7-8): For students focusing on mastering reading comprehension and working with challenging texts. Intended for grades 7 and 8, but can be adjusted based on teacher/therapist input.

The program features a range of exercises designed to support and strengthen reading comprehension, improve focus, and make learning more enjoyable. Activities include:
